Black stockinette cloth stuffed doll with stitch-shaped, painted and embroidered facial features, black buttons eyes, black fleecy yarn stitched hair, brown cotton sateen stitch-jointed body, antique costume, calico dress and sunbonnet. Condition: fair/good, with stockinette wear. Comments: attributed to Beecher, New York, circa 1895. Value Points: rare American doll with highly characterized features.
