19" (49 cm.) Muslin doll with stitch-shaped facial features, pointy nose and chin, painted facial features and eyes, stitch-jointed limbs with unusual shape of fingers. Condition: very good, some costume fading. Comments: American, circa 1890. Value Points: amusing folk art jester wears original sewn-on colorful jester costume, felt shoes, felt cap with tassel over black fleecy hair.
