16" (41 cm.) Pressed/carved wooden socket head with plump cheeks and defined double chin, painted blue eyes, eye shadow, feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with defined space between the outlined lips, blonde mohair tacked-on wig, all- wooden spring-jointed toddler body, holes in feet for positioning. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: H.A. Schoenhut C. (head) Schoenhut Pat. Jan. 17, 1911 USA (torso). Comments: Schoenhut, circa 1915. Value Points: appealing sculpting of the plump toddler face, original finish and wig, wearing antique cotton sailor costume and cap, carrying tin horn.
