24" (62 cm.) Bisque socket head, large brown glass sleep eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, brush stroked and feathered brows, accented eye corners, shaded nostrils, closed mouth with richly shaded and outlined lips, brunette human hair wig, composition and wooden fully jointed body with straight wrists, lovely costume of ivory silk and lace. Condition: generally excellent, some body retouch. Marks: 16. Comments: Kestner, circa 1890. Value Points: very fine quality of bisque on the closed mouth child, original body.
