29" (74 cm.) Bisque socket head, brown glass sleep eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, slightly modeled brush stroked and feathered brows, accented eye corners and nostrils, open mouth, outlined lips, four porcelain teeth, pierced ears, blonde human hair, composition and wooden ball-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 1249 Germany Halbig S&H. Comments: Simon and Halbig, circa 1895. Value Points: rarer model of child doll beautifully depicts an older child, fine impressed dimples accent the gentle expression, original body and body finish, lovely antique costume.
