29" (74 cm.) Bisque socket head, blue glass sleep eyes, thick eyeliner, painted lashes, thick brush stroked and feathered brows, accented eye corners, shaded nostrils, open mouth, shaded and accented lips, four porcelain teeth, brunette mohair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body, antique costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: made in Germany M dep 16 156 (head) Excelsior Germany (body). Comments: Kestner, circa 1900. Value Points: rarer model with character like features, choice bisque and painting, original signed body and body finish.
