19" (48 cm.) Solid domed bisque shoulder head, blue glass paperweight inset eyes with spiral threading, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, thick brush stroked and feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with accented lips, pierced ears, brunette mohair wig, kid body with gusset jointing, bisque lower arms, nicely costumed. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: S 7 H 950. Comments: Simon and Halbig, circa 1885. Value Points: rare early model with well-defined elongated full cheeks, fine quality of bisque.
