14" (36 cm.) Bisque socket head with plump modeled facial features, blue glass enamel inset eyes, dark eyeliner encircles the eye sockets, painted lashes and brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with center accent line, blonde mohair wig, composition and wooden fully jointed body with straight wrists. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 938 # (crown rim). Comments: Alt, Beck and Gottschalk, circa 1890. Value Points: rare model with most appealing facial expression, superb quality of bisque, original body and body finish, well detailed antique costume.
