21" (54 cm.) Pressed/carved wooden socket head, intaglio sculpted and painted brown eyes, white eye dots, thick black upper eyeliner, feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with solemn expression, very firm jaw line, brunette mohair tacked-on wig, all-wooden spring-jointed body, holes in feet for positioning. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Schoenhut Doll, Pat. Jan. 17, 1911 USA. Comments: Schoenhut, circa 1912. Value Points: rare model with fine detail of sculpting, well- preserved original finish, original wig, wearing boy's two piece suit with matching cap, woolen leggings, brown leather boots.
