9"-13". Each has pressed felt head with painted facial features, mohair wig in fanciful design, muslin body, and vivid costume. Included are plump-cheeked lady with blonde ringlet curls, wearing peach velvet and organdy gown with matching bonnet and parasol; folklore costumed girl with felt costume in bright colors; Scottish boy with side-glancing brown eyes, chubby body, wonderfully detailed costume, with two original paper labels indicating Magis of Italy as maker; and sailor with brown beard, blue- glancing eyes, striped shirt, red knit sailor jacket with brass buttons, red woolen tam, black pants, with original Magis paper label. Excellent condition of all. Italy, circa 1935.
