Pink tinted bisque shoulderhead, blue glass sleep eyes, painted lashes, brush stroked and feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with accent line between the downcast lips, brunette mohair wig, pin-jointed kid body with bisque forearms. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 4 Heubach (square) Germany (head) Joseph Horne Co, Pittsburgh (paper label on torso). Comments: Gebruder Heubach, circa 1915, the doll was sold by the famous Pittsburgh department store of Joseph Horne. Value Points: excellent bisque and painting on the pouty child, original body with rare store label, antique mariner costume.
