28" (72 cm.) Bisque socket head, brown glass sleep eyes, mohair lashes, painted lower lashes, slightly modeled brushstroked and feathered brows, accented nostrils, open mouth, shaded and accented lips, four porcelain teeth, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Germany Heinrich Handwerck Simon & Halbig 5 (head) Handwerck (body). Comments: Heinrich Handwerck, circa 1900. Value Points: in fine virtually unplayed with condition, the doll has original lashes, wig, body, body finish, and antique rose cotton dress, undergarments, socks, shoes.
