12" (31 cm.) A firmly shaped paper mache wolf dog is covered with shaded brown shaved wool to simulate fur, has carved open mouth with painted teeth, brown glass inset eyes, painted nose tip, brown collar, long tail, tiny metal spoked wheels for pull-along play. Very good condition, some wear to coat. French, circa 1890, a rare toy with realistic features.
