Description
14" (36 cm.) Paper mache socket head, dark blue glass paperweight inset eyes, dark painted lashes and brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, open mouth, outlined lips, row of porcelain teeth, blonde mohair wig, five piece composition body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 3. Comments: French, circa 1890. Value Points: the doll, in beautiful unplayed with condition, bisque- like complexion, is wearing her original toddler costume including bibbed shirt, matching bonnet, flannel diaper, white kidskin shoes, and has twill "leading strings" for support while learning to walk.
