Description
26" (66 cm.) Solid domed bisque socket head, painted blonde baby hair with sculpted detail, small blue glass sleep eyes, painted short curly lashes, incised eyeliner, curved feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, open mouth with modeled tongue, outlined shaped lips, composition bent limb baby body. Condition: generally excellent, some finger retouch. Marks: JDK 20 made in Germany. Comments: Kestner, circa 1915. Value Points: wonderful large size baby with very choice bisque and sculpting, elaborate antique baby gown and bonnet.
