11" x 9" overall. Inside a heavy cardboard box with decorative paper covers including an illustration of French schoolchildren by artist H. Roy are a set of Cubes Alphabetiques, wooden cube six-sided blocks with applied paper lithographed designs with letters and illustrations of various objects and activities to correspond to each letter. An outstanding set of wooden blocks with superb paper designs in perfectly preserved condition. French, circa 1895.
