18" x 19" x 12". A wooden box with decorative paper covers on the exterior and labeled "Epicerie" (grocery),hinges open to reveal the well-fitted shelves of a small grocery store, along with wooden drawers with food labels, counter with brass scale, paper mache clerk with original costume, and a large assortment of miniature delicacies in boxes, jars and bottles with original French labels. Excellent condition. French, circa 1890,a rare large grocery store in wonderfully preserved unplayed with condition.
