30" (76 cm.) All muslin doll with flat dimensional face, painted brown curly hair, painted facial features, brown shaded eyes, outlined sockets and nose, painted lashes and brows, painted lips with slight smile and defined teeth, stitch- jointing at shoulder, hips and knees, separate thumbs, antique calico dress, undergarments, leather shoes. Condition very good, original painting, hands a bit worn and patched. Comments: unmarked, American, circa 1880. Value Points: very charming large child doll with artfully rendered painting of complexion, hair and features.
