Description
28" (72 cm.) Bisque socket head, brown glass sleep eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, brush stroked and feathered brows with decorative glaze, accented nostrils and eye corners, open mouth, shaded and outlined lips, four porcelain teeth, brunette mohair wig over original plaster pate, composition and wooden ball-jointed body, antique costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: L made in Germany 15 1/ 2 171 (head) 171 (pate) Germany (body). Comments: Kestner, circa 1900. Value Points: very sweet dolly-faced model has choice bisque, original pate, body, body finish.
