A carved wooden horse in prancing position is covered with brown hide, has brown glass inset eyes, horsehair mane and tail, fine quality leather saddle and harness, saddle blanket, and is mounted upon an elaborate wooden base platform designed to allow the horse to move forward and backward. Very fine original condition. Germany, circa 1900.
