Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulderplate, narrow blue glass inset eyes, painted lashes, feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with accented lips, pierced ears, kid poupee body with shapely one-piece arms and legs, stitched and separated fingers. Condition: generally excellent, body especially sturdy and clean except fingers. Marks: 1 (head and shoulders). Comments: Circa 1875, the poupee appears to have Dehors patented mechanism in neck allowing the head to tilt side to side and up and down, as well as swivel around. Value Points: beautiful portrait like features on the petite poupee, wearing original burgundy silk two piece gown with intricate construction, bonnet, undergarment, leather shoes.
