Description
6"-11" (15-25 cm.) Each is classic standing Kewpie with one-piece head, torso and legs, loop- jointed bisque arms, painted hair with topknot, blue wings, side-glancing eyes, impish smile. Condition: generally excellent, tiny chip on topknot of larger. Marks: O'Neill (feet). Comments: Germany, circa 1915, designed by rose O'Neill. Value Points: the trio includes exceptionally large all-bisque, wigged model, and Kewpie with original (frail) knit costume.
