Standing upon a wooden platform with metal wheels is a bisque-headed doll dressed as a jester, with glass eyes, open mouth, blonde mohair wig, wooden torso, wire upper arms, bisque forearms, paper mache feet, holding silk ribbons attached to a pair of fleece-covered paper mache swans. When pulled along, the swans pivot from side to side, and he turns his head. Very good condition. French, circa 1890.
