26" (66 cm.) Bisque socket head, brown glass sleep eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, slightly modeled brush stroked brows with decorative glaze, accented nostrils and eye corners, open mouth, shaded and accented lips, four porcelain teeth, dimpled chin and philtrum, blonde mohair wig over plaster pate, composition and wooden ball- jointed body, antique costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: L made in Germany 15 164. Comments: Kestner, circa 1900. Value Points: beautiful classic dolly-face model with choice bisque and painting, original wig, pate, body, body finish.
