12" (30 cm.) Paper mache seated kitten with lavish white fur coat has green glass eyes, pink nose, paper mache hands that are holding a wooden coffee grinder, clockwork mechanism in torso. When wound, the kitten rolls its head around and its paw turns the grinder handle as though grinding coffee beans. Marked R.D. on handle. Roullet et Decamps, French, circa 1915. Excellent condition.
