16" (41 cm.) Bisque socket head, brown glass sleep eyes, painted lashes, incised eyeliner, short feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, open mouth, shaded and accented lips, two porcelain upper teeth, blonde mohair wig over plaster pate, composition bent limb baby body, antique costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: H made in Germany 12 JDK 226. Comments: Kestner, circa 1915. Value Points: fine original condition of the dimple-faced character, original wig, pate, body, body finish.
