19" (49 cm.) Pressed/carved wooden socket head, intaglio sculpted and painted brown eyes, white eye dots, feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with outlined lips posed in pensive manner, blonde mohair tacked-on wig, all- wooden spring-jointed body, holes in feet for positioning. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Schoenhut Pat. Jan. 17,1911 USA and Foreign Countries (incised). Comments: Schoenhut, circa 1912. Value Points: superb sculpting and fine well-preserved original finish, original knit teddy, antique dress, bonnet, socks and shoes.
