Description
26" (66 cm.) Solid domed bisque socket head, painted blonde baby hair with defined curls at forehead, large brown glass sleep eyes, mohair lashes, painted lashes, brush stroked and feathered brows, open mouth, two porcelain teeth, tongue, composition bent limb baby body, nicely costumed in toddler's romper suit. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: JDK 18 made in Germany. Comments: Kestner, circa 1915. Value Points: fine large size baby with superb definition of bisque and painting, original body and body finish.
