18" (46 cm.) Bisque socket head, brown glass sleep eyes, thickly brush-stroked brows with feathered highlights, painted lashes, accent dots at eye corners and nostrils, closed mouth with outlined lips, blonde mohair wig over plaster pate, original early composition and wooden body with straight wrists, antique brown velvet boy's suit in the Little Lord Fauntleroy manner. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Kestner, circa 1890. Value Points: well-modeled plump cheeks and chin lend an appealing wistful expression to the well-dressed young fellow.
