Description
9" (23 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque torso, brown glass eyes, painted lashes and brows, dark eyeliner, slightly-parted lips, two square-cut upper teeth and one lower, peg-jointed bisque arms and legs, painted blue socks and black two-strap shoes with little bows, antique costume. Condition: right leg has clean one-piece reglue at thigh, few typical tiny flakes at stringing hole of right arm and leg. Marks: 886 S 5 H. Comments: Simon and Halbig, circa 1885. Value Points: beautiful wide-eyed doll in rarer large size has lovely complexion and bisque.
