Description
2 1/4" (6 cm.) Six wooden miniature dolls with sculpted and brightly painted costumes and facial features having loosely jointed legs and wire "bristle" supports. When placed upon cardboard framed tabouret that is included, and handle turned to activate the drum sticks, the dolls appear to dance about in an amusing fashion. Excellent condition. The rare 19th century miniature dolls include a Tyrolean lady fiddler, Zoave costumed pair, and several well- costumed prosperous villagers.
