8" (20 cm.) Two gentlemen are posed with arms outstretched, clasping each other's arms as though testing the strength of the other, each with paper mache head, sculpted hat, moustache and facial features, paper mache torso with painted costume, wooden pin-jointed limbs with painted detail of costume. The figures were designed to tumble back and forth when string pulled. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: "Lutte des Deux Hommes les plus forts du monde" (original game instructions in original box). Comments: circa 1890. Value Points: perfectly preserved amusing figures in vibrant colors, original box and instructions.
