Pale bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulderplate, cobalt blue glass enamel inset eyes, dark eyeliner, lightly painted lashes and brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with outlined lips, ears pierced into the head, blonde mohair wig over cork pate, kid fashion body with shapely torso, gusset-jointed limbs, stitched and separated fingers. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Au Paradis des Enfants Perreau Fils, 4, 5, 6 Rue de Rivoli, Rue du Louvre (torso stamp). Comments: circa 1865, the luxury poupee was sold from the famous Paris doll store at that time. Value Points: very beautiful poupee is wonderfully preserved condition with original boutique label, original wig, sturdy original body, multi-layered antique costume.
