Description
Each about 10" (26 cm.) Each has pressed felt head with painted facial features, side-glancing eyes, mohair wig in various styles, muslin body, and vivid costume. Each is costumed imaginatively in folklore style costume representing various regions of Italy. Three have original paper labels indicating production by the Italian firm of Magis, circa 1935. The costumes are excellent in their detail including traditionally styled coiffes, earrings, and aprons.
