Description
16" x 12" box. 4" teapot. A heavy cardboard box with decorative paper covers in the Art Nouveau style and lettered word "The" (tea) opens to reveal well-fitted interior comprising blue and rose paper lining, white embossed porcelain service with rose shading and gilt edging, linen napkins, menu cards, silver spoons, gilt sugar tongs, still tied into original box with rose silk ribbons. Excellent condition, some aging to box. French, circa 1890.
