16" (41 cm.) One piece porcelain doll portraying a young baby in standing position with outstretched arms and clenched fists, legs apart, pink tinting on face, painted brown hair, nostrils, comma-shaped nostril accents, closed mouth with center accent line. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Germany, circa 1890,designed for play at seaside or child's bath, the bathing doll became popularly known as "Frozen Charlotte" based on stylistic pose. Value Points: fine large size with well-defined features, pink tinted complexion.
