12" (31 cm.) Carved wooden head with sculpted and tinted facial features, small blue eyes, brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with center accent line, muslin body. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Door of Hope, China, circa 1920. Value Points: the artistically sculpted doll is perfectly preserved, wears its original black woolen policeman's uniform with silver embroidery, silver buttons, black cap and boots with upturned toes.
