Description
17" (46 cm.) All cloth doll with pressed and oil- painted facial features and hair, sculpted ears, brown boyish hair with curls across the forehead, painted green eyes, white eyedots, black and brown upper eyeliner, accented nostrils, closed mouth with center accent line, stitch-jointed shoulders, hip-jointed toddler legs. Condition: generally excellent, slight mend at left foot and torso rump. Marks: Kathe Kruse (left foot). Comments: Kathe Kruse, circa 1915. Value Points: most appealing expression on the wistful faced boy with original painted finish, antique costume.
