10" (25 cm.) Firmly shaped paper mache dachshund with flocked finish in black and brown has glass inset eyes, tiny wheels on feet for pull-along play, and a fine-quality-craftsmanship muzzle and harness with silver stud trim. Excellent condition. French, circa 1900. A rare accessory toy to find, the pull-toy dog was offered in Parisian Etrennes catalogs around the end of the 19th century.
