7"l. (18 cm.) Paper mache standing dog is covered lavishly with white fur, has shaved muzzle, glass inset eyes, long fluffy tail. The head removes for candy storage, as presented originally in exclusive Paris candy shops, and designed for later use as doll accessory. French, circa 1885.
