Description
Each about 10" (26 cm.) Each has pressed felt head with painted facial features, side-glancing eyes, mohair wig in various styles, muslin body, and vivid costume. Each is costumed imaginatively in folklore style costume representing various regions of Italy, Spain, Switzerland and France. Three have original paper labels indicating production by the Italian firm of Magis, circa 1935. The dolls are imaginatively costumed in brilliant colors of felt, cotton and taffeta and have wonderfully detailed decorative touches.
