Description
24" (61 cm.) x 24" x 14". The background earthenware/gesso setting features a courtyard scene with open doorway, niches, architectural details including columns, brickwork trim, and courtyard floor of polished stone. Arranged in the setting are two Neapolitan figures, woman and boy, each with polychromed terra cotta head, posable armature body, and each wearing original costume. Excellent condition. Neapolitan, mid-1700s.
