arranged forehead curls,topknot and nape
curls,wearing tagged evening ensemble #2174
comprising purple gown with sheath-fitted
torso,rose satin-lined bodice,lilac tulle layered
skirt with floral trim,organdy and tulle
petticoats,silk panties,stockings,silver sling
heels,rhinestone earrings and brooch. Excellent
condition,slight darkening of facial and arm
complexion. Alexander,Cissy,1956,the costume was
described in the Alexander catalog
as "sophisticated gown of purple velvet with long
tight-fitting torso and a wide flare of layers
and layers of lilac nylon tulle_deep d_colletage
lined with pink satin,and bunch of pink roses."
