Description
5 1/2" (14 cm). Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque torso, cobalt blue glass sleep eyes, painted lashes, feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with center accent line, blonde mohair wig, peg-jointed bisque arms and legs, additional jointing at knees, painted white stockings with scalloped rims, light brown painted ankle boots with lacing detail, cupped fingers. Condition: tiny chip at right eye rim, piece broken and reglued on front torso. Marks: 0 (head, torso, upper legs). Comments: Kestner, circa 1885. Value Points: very rare miniature with jointed knees, fancy shoes, beautiful expression.
