Description
5" (13 cm). Pale bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque elongated torso, cobalt-blue glass inset eyes, black eyeliner, delicately feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with accented lips,blonde mohair wig, peg-jointed bisque arms and legs with tiny ball-joints at elbows, bare feet. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 0 (back torso). Comments: Circa 1878,the jointed-elbow mignonette was deposed by Sustrac in 1877,and also by Schmitt et Fils. Value Points: very rare model of mignonette is enhanced further by exquisite beauty and painting, bare feet, with antique rose silk dress, and various hand-sewn undergarments in old French box.
