23" (59 cm). Bisque socket head, blue glass flirty eyes, mohair lashes, painted lower lashes, brushstroked and feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, open mouth with outlined lips, four porcelain teeth, brunette human hair, French composition and wooden body with walking style legs that cause the head to turn from side to side, eyes flirty, and doll throws kisses from hinged right arm, nicely costumed in peach rayon French with lace panel insert, matching bonnet, undergarments, leather shoes. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: SFBJ Depose 8 (early incised mark). Comments: SFBJ, circa 1900. Value Points: appealing coquettish bebe with well-functioning mechanisms.
