Bisque socket head, blue glass paperweight inset eyes, dark eyeliner encircles the eye sockets, painted lashes, rose blushed eye shadow, thickly fringed brows with feathered highlights, accented eye corners, shaded nostrils, closed mouth with shaded and outlined lips, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig over Steiner pate, French composition and wooden fully jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: J. Steiner Bte SGDG Paris Fre E 19 (head). Comments: Jules Steiner, circa 1890. Value Points: very rare model of the Steiner firm with superb bisque and painting, her larger size enhancing the finely sculpted character-like features, original body and body finish, Steiner pate, antique costume.
