8" (20 cm.) Polychromed terra cotta shoulderhead tilted to the side, sculpted green snood cap with red banding and forehead brim, brown sculpted curls at the front, heavily-lidded enamel eyes, mouth modeled as though open, row of teeth, tow-wrapped posable armature body, painted blue stockings, black shoes with red buckles, original folklore costume. Excellent condition, costume dusty. Neapolitan, mid-1700s.
