Description
11" (28 cm). Bisque socket head with blue glass eyes, painted lashes and brows, open mouth, four teeth, blonde mohair wig, is attached to muslin- covered cardboard torso and wooden stick handle. The marotte is costumed in muslin, lace and aqua silk ribbons, and designed as party favor. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 1079 dep S&H Germany. Comments: circa 1910. Value Points: beautifully preserved marotte.
