17" (45 cm). Bisque shoulderplate with sculpted long blonde flowing curls captured beneath a draped blue scarf that extends low on the bodice, blue glass inset eyes with paperweight like effect, dark painted eyeliner, painted lashes, feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with center accent line, downcast pouty expression,(new) muslin stitch-jointed body, nicely costumed in blue silk. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Alt, Beck and Gottschalk, circa 1885. Value Points: sought after model is made more desirable by glass eyes, lovely and appealing expression.
